Liverpool’s next marquee signing could be Jude Bellingham

Manchester United have been trying hard to sign Jude Bellingham since before moving to Borussia Dortmund.

and Liverpool Echo report sure he’ll be the next sign in Jurgen Klopp’s super team and he’ll have to wait.

Bellingham are unlikely to leave Dortmund until the summer of 2023 as Erling Haaland moves to Manchester City this summer.

The Bundesliga clubs have a one-on-one approach to selling their most important players and unless Liverpool, United or Chelsea pay a hefty amount this summer, they will stay.

But, Chain Ser report if the Reds had bid € 100million for the signature to beat Real Madrid and Manchester United for the signature.

Liverpool’s next marquee signing

according to Laurie Whitwell of The AthleticManchester United are making the Bellingham sign a priority for 2023.

With Erik ten Hag taking over at Old Trafford, the Red Devils need to ensure that he will be successful next season to ensure that he will run to land at the age of 18.

If there is a choice between Liverpool and United this summer, Liverpool will certainly be favorites due to their success under Klopp and their immediate ability to give them a chance to win silver.

However, with a deal to sign Bellingham unlikely until next summer, United have the opportunity to level the field.

That said, it would take an epic turnaround for Ten Hag to take the side to the level that City and Liverpool are operating at.

Liverpool now have one of the strongest squads of all time and adding Bellingham to the mix could be explosive.

The starting XI was not a qualified man in the right -hand center field.

The trio of Thiago, Fabinho and Bellingham will be exceptional and will have all the qualities that Klopp wants in a midfielder.

Technical quality, running power, work ethic, fighting and versatility.

The Echo reported that the next priority for Liverpool was to sign a midfielder, but he claimed he would not be added to the squad until next summer.

Jude Bellingham

While I agree that signing Bellingham at a price of € 100 million is not feasible or likely this summer, I can’t imagine that Liverpool will sign next season without adding a new midfielder.

After Aurelien Tchouameni escaped, joining Real Madrid, it would have been strange that Liverpool had suddenly decided not to need a new midfielder.

While Darwin Nunez is an expensive addition, the sale of Sadio Mane will fund at least part of the fee.

Liverpool’s main problem at the start of last season was the likes of Thiago and Naby Keita being injured and while finding new fitness after the New Year, the injury record was unbelievable.
